Why does Ingest Pro show an incorrect “Drive is empty” alert?

When Ingest Pro is not allowed to access a drive, macOS will tell Ingest Pro it's empty. Fix this by enabling Full Disk Access in the Privacy & Security (macOS 13.x or newer) or Security & Privacy (macOS 12.x or older) system setting.
